Journalists in War

There was once a keen journalist named Aria
who was recently posted in Syria
She thought she’d be safe
until she got a real chafe
from the ungrateful consumers of media!

I recently had a conversation with a freelance journalist and executive coach that had just returned from covering some of the events in the Middle East. It was apparent just how under-appreciated the work some people do is. It is almost as though there is a disconnect between the effort and pain required to deliver a service, and the consumption of that very service.

Newshounds that constantly criticise journalists for not covering this, that, and the other should be aware that they are likely biting the hand that feeds.
