and he’d make some silly remark!
While intelligence often informs the content of a discussion, it is interesting to note that good conversation is largely a process skill.
There was once a bum named Matt
who really loved to chat
he’d plague passersby
with tales ’bout his eye
and how it once belonged to a cat!
Isn’t it interesting that people that are of no interest to us rarely seem to have anything interesting to say.
